Biography
Myrna Leticia Enamorado is a Latin American artist and author from Kenner, Louisiana. She began exhibiting artwork in New Orleans in 2003 and internationally in 2011. Her first poem was published in 1998. Since then, she has published 4 illustrated fairytales, 1 coloring book, and made over 20 handmade artist books. Besides New Orleans, she lived briefly in Paris and New York.
Artist Statement
Ponytess aka Myrna Leticia Enamorado is an American painter and book artist. Inspired by the immensity of a starry sky, the natural cycles of the moon, or the pulsing, infinite vibrations of waterfalls, natural healings occur within the various mediums she applies throughout her work. The result is akin to the alchemical qualities of the unicorn's horn or the phantasmagoric influence of fairytales.
